SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE FLASH GAME

Slumdog Millionaire started to get on critics top 10 list almost immediately. It is based on the Boeke Prize winning novel by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup. Slumdog Millionaire tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on a game show and exceeds people's expectations, arousing the suspicions of the show's host and of law enforcement officials. This is the feel good movie of the year, think Juno in 2007.

This fantastic British made film has won 4 Golden Globes and is now nominated for eleven BAFTA Awards and 10 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Director. Directed by Danny Boyle who did Trainspotting and 28 Days Later. Slumdog Millionaire was written by Simon Beaufoy who also wrote the critically acclaimed The Full Monty.

The cast includes Dev Patel, the protagonist, a Muslim boy born and raised in the poverty of Mumbai. Freida Pinto as Latika, the girl with whom Jamal is in love. Pinto was an Indian model who had not starred in a feature film before. Irrfan Khan, The Police Inspector. Anil Kapoor, the show host. Madhur Mittal, Jamal's brother. With the Academy announcing the 10 awards today I'm sure we will see much more of the cast in new movie releases. Which cast will emerge as the stars is still unknown.
